Bringing the 2023 Annual Impact Report together this year was a beneficial introspective exercise, as 2023 brought many changes to GLOS: new leadership, new staff, and new partners. Thus, we have been reflecting on what GLOS is and what GLOS does, more than usual.
We have concluded that we would not be the Great Lakes Observing System without all of you.
We would like to thank you all for being supporters of the Great Lakes Observing System. The work we do to put more Great Lakes data into peoples’ hands is only possible due to the unwavering support received from you: the users, the data providers, our Board of Directors, NOAA, the IOOS Associations and Regional Associations, and any and all those who contribute their time to the betterment of the Great Lakes and their surrounding communities.
As we look forward to expanding on current projects, increasing our outreach and observational footprint, we remain devoted to providing the most reliable information and best user experience we can to help better understand the Great Lakes ecosystem. Stay tuned for all the NEW that is sure to come in 2024.
